You can then store your recorded tracks in a lossless WAV format, or you could just save them in the OGG Vorbis form compressed. You can also stream your tracks through MP3 streaming, but that feature is locked by default. That’s due to licensing restrictions. The Bad

If you are a big effects fanatic and want to go crazy with different effects to inject in your mixes then you will be disappointed as Mixxx only has a limited number of effects to offer. It lets you chain a group of different effects together which allows up to 4 FX units, but if you are really looking to experiment with a variety of effects then you better look elsewhere.
